A Morning Hello to the Glass
I waddled up onto the wide wooden windowsill to meet the very first beam of sunshine. Right there sat a dusty little potted succulent, looking so brave and quiet. Without any hands, I gently bumped the ceramic pot with my smooth base, leaning in close to tell it that its green leaves were doing an extraordinarily magnificent job soaking up the morning. I shuffled sideways and nudged a fallen dry petal right up to its edge like a cozy blanket, making sure it felt completely appreciated.
