A Sunny Kitchen Breakfast

Hot dog! I climbed down from the windowsill and trotted straight into the kitchen to start the day! Perched right on the wooden breakfast bar was a warm ceramic mug sitting next to a shiny stainless steel teaspoon. Tucked right by the saucer, I spotted a bright yellow paper muffin cup shaped like a pleated crown! Gripping the curved teaspoon with both plush hands, I gave the edge of the ceramic mug three cheerful little taps—tink, tink, tink! It sounded just like a breakfast bell announcing morning parade time for the whole house!
