Tangled Shadows and Woven Wool
I pushed back through the flap as streetlamps turned on, trotting into the living room to rest my heavy bricks. Right by the soft edge of the floor lamp, a giant wooden spurtle rested angled against a thick cable-knit floor cushion. I stretched my snout to tap the smooth birch handle, and it wobbled, rolling into the soft wool furrow with a gentle dip! Instead of racing away, it sank snugly right between the chunky stitches. I stepped my front paws up onto the dense knit loops and nudged the handle deeper into the fold until it held perfectly still. Settled into the dip beside it, my joints clicked into evening calm.#Jasper
