G.I.J.O.E. Operation Dark Gold (OPDG) QRF

With Tunnel Rat and Wolf Spider’s team in a firefight and outnumbered, they used the mission code word “tobasco” meaning the team is in combat and assistance is needed. While TICs (Troops In Combat) was part of the mission plan, any TICs would have support. The Quick Reaction Force (QRF) is scrambled amongst some of the other small units also in the area of operations. All-Father of Action Force and a Steel Brigade Operator heed the call to support Tunnel Rat and his team. Along the way, they are ordered to link up with another small team to bolster their numbers.

The Joes and AF using “Flash” and “Thunder” as a verbal challenge may not be the best of ideas realistically, but it’s fun to use here.

For those who are familiar with World War II history, “flash” and “thunder” were verbal challenge and password used by the allies during the D-Day invasion. A Google search also mentions a third password. After the response of "Thunder," the first soldier would say "Welcome".
