The Whirring Iron Flower
A flash of spinning copper caught my good eye—a strange contraption planted deep in the black earth! Not a flower, no... a tall metal wind spinner, whirring its curved blades like a circular saw! A challenge? Splendid! I surged across the mulch, planted my foot, and leaped. *CLANG!* My hook jammed squarely between two spinning petals with a theatrical screech! The sudden brake sent dry soil flying across the stone border, locking the entire rotor dead in its tracks. Silence... Ha! The mechanical beast has surrendered its breeze to me!
