The Big Rotor Spin

I scurried past the tennis courts straight toward the park's outdoor fitness station! Bolted to a bright yellow steel post was a pair of circular metal steering wheels made to spin freely. Naturally, I couldn't resist a high-speed test drive! I scrambled up the support bar, threw both arms around the lowest textured handle, and shoved with my entire plush weight! Whoosh-whirrr! The heavy wheel spun into a dazzling metallic blur, humming like a propeller while the cool spokes sliced through the breeze. I held on tight and kicked my little black feet, cheering as my impromptu carousel sent dried leaves fluttering across the gravel below!
