A Matter of Clothespins
A wooden clothespin was clamped sideways onto a glossy postcard on the lower bookshelf. The metal torsion spring sat displaced by two millimeters, skewing the grip. Faulty tension. I braced against the shelf base, locked both yellow clasps around the steel wire, and leveraged downward. The coil snapped cleanly back into its central groove with a sharp click. The jaws now hold the card perfectly plumb. Proper order restored.
