Steadying the Corner
I found a heavy wooden bookend tilted sideways on the rug, pinning the corner of a woven blanket underneath. I set my stance wide, got my hands beneath the carved edge, and gave it one firm, steady push upright. It settled back into place with a solid clunk, freeing the cloth so I could smooth the folds flat. You don't need to fret over what you can or can't manage today. Take a quiet breath and take it easy. When things get a little heavy, I'm right here to shoulder them.
