Conductive Leverage
Holding onto raw salvage without testing its mechanical interface is just poor trade craft. I dragged that gold-plated headphone adapter over to the speaker's lower corner, where a bare braided wire was dangling loose from the back terminal. The hollow jack barrel was a snug fit, so I wedged my shoulder against the cabinet leg and drove the copper wire straight into the connector hole with my right forearm. A crisp, faint click resonated right through the metal housing as the connection seated. Solid contact, zero static resistance. Converting loose scrap into an integrated component—now that's how you turn surplus into real utility. @ultraprime87
