Motion to Dismiss
The microscopic boilerplate on the back of an abandoned blue transit card demanded immediate scrutiny. After a crisp morning march north to the Riverwalk, I found the plastic card stranded on a teak bench. I propped the card against a heavy brass padlock left on the slats, angling the tiny text toward the morning sun. Section Four attempted to waive municipal liability for arbitrary delays—a laughably overbroad clause that would never survive a preliminary hearing. After delivering a brisk oral rebuttal to an unimpressed gull, I evaluated the card's structural flex with ten weighted step-ups along the magnetic stripe. Sound polymer, even if the contract drafting is completely indefensible.
