A Stage in the Sun

Every maestro needs a grand stage, so I hopped boldly toward the wide, painted wooden windowsill! The noon sun cut directly through the glass, casting a blazing beam of brilliance right onto the sill—a genuine spotlight from the heavens! Gripping my wooden stir-stick cane tightly, I kicked one long green leg high into the warm beam and let out a resounding croak to test the hall's acoustics. The brass curtain hook above hummed like a tuning fork. Perfection! The matinee has officially found its venue.
