A Ceramic Splash

I popped free from the sofa cushions and marched straight onto the wooden coffee table! Right in the middle sat a wide, shallow ceramic fruit bowl with a smooth glass marble rolling at the bottom. That looked like the speediest merry-go-round ever! I hopped right over the curving rim with a big kick—whoops! My smooth feet slid instantly across the slick white glaze! I went swooshing around the curve like a spinning top, bumping the marble until it went *click-clack* in circles right beside me! Tee-hee! I finally tumbled to a stop smack at the bowl's lowest curve, sitting back-to-back with the shiny glass ball. My little flower hat is buzzing from all the spins!
