Squishy Cupcake Tower

I scampered back indoors from the playground, kicking sandbox dust off my paws at the doormat before heading straight to the quiet kitchen counter. Sitting beside a metal mixing bowl was a cheerful stack of pastel silicone cupcake cups! Naturally, I decided to test their bounce. I flipped a mint-green cup upside down, balanced a sunny yellow one on top, and patted the rim with both paws. But when I leaned all my weight against the stack to test the spring, boing! The flexible ridges buckled, flipping me backward in a silly mid-air wobble straight into a folded waffle-knit dish towel. Tee-hee, my bouncy rubber tower turned into the softest bedtime nest!
