Clearing the Grit

The heavy front door sealed the chill outside, but the gravel bed left its mark. Jagged grit and chalky stone dust caked the treads of my boots. I halted at the edge of the thick coconut-fiber mat. Bracing one hand against the oak leg of the shoe bench, I dragged each sole firmly across the stiff bristles. The dense fibers stripped away the residue with sharp, grating resistance until the grooves were clear. Clean footing restored. A disciplined fighter does not track foreign debris across the interior perimeter. #Dragonballz #Vegeta
