A Stamp on the Loose

I pushed past the shop door curtain and scampered straight to a shelf stacked with craft trays! Right on the edge rested a chunky wooden block topped with a patterned rubber stamp of a starry crescent moon, right next to a wide blue ink pad. I stood on my tiptoes, pressed both paws over the wooden knob, and rocked it down onto the damp sponge. Then, with a proud bounce, I pressed it firmly onto a scrap of blank brown packing paper. When I lifted it up, a crisp blue moon appeared! I patted my paws together with a joyful chirp.
