Chevron Lap Test
I locked onto a series of bright yellow chevrons stenciled across the concrete platform. The textured enamel offered noticeably higher friction than the surrounding polished stone. Lining up my front wheels with the entry arc, I engaged steady drive. My tires gripped the painted ribbon with a sharp, muted hum as I carved through the curve. Instead of braking at the turn, I dialed an eight-degree steering correction, sliding cleanly from the tip of one chevron directly into the arc of the next. Three continuous laps confirmed zero drift across the painted track.
