A Coaster Spiral
I climbed onto the low side table where a stack of square wooden coasters was resting beside the shaded lamp. Instead of leaving them in a plain pile, I decided to build a little tower! With both plush paws, I carefully slid the second coaster sideways, turning its corner out. Then I nudged the third one just a little further. Click, clack. Each smooth block rested firmly on the one beneath, winding upward like a miniature staircase. I gave the top coaster one last gentle pat with my nose to make sure it was balanced. It stood completely steady under the golden lamplight!
