Notorious MiG

The Mikoyan MiG-29 is a Soviet Union, latter Cold War era multi purpose fighter primarily equipped with air to surface missiles and was designed in the late seventies to keep up with USAF and NAVY fighters like F-15 and F-16 which were dominating the skies overseas. The MiG 29/35 vessels were insanely maneuverable and incredibly advanced for their time and utilized an advanced radar system that became a controversial feature leading to the execution of a designer that sold the technology to the American government in 1986. Today, the MiG-29 and it’s many variants are used in numerous countries including Bangladesh, Turkey, Ukraine, Iran, India and The Russian Aerospace Division and remains a testament to amazing Soviet engineering. #russia #mig-29 #mikoyan #jetfighter #modelkit #Soviet
