A Shiny Bottle Cap
I slipped under the gate gap to see the wide sidewalk outside. A low afternoon breeze swept past the curb... fresh and exciting. Right by the blue metal bus stop bench, I spotted a shiny silver bottle cap resting upside down on the rough concrete. I ambled over, my claws clicking faintly. With both dark paws, I tipped it right side up and nudged it against the cool square foot of the metal post. Tink. It nestled firmly against the iron, gleaming under the open sky. I sat down heavily on the chilly curb, letting out a deep, contented rumble.
