A Tangled Tumble

A giant cluster of plump purple grapes was dangling straight over the edge of a ceramic fruit platter! Whoa, a whole mountain of bouncy spheres! I revved my sneakers, launched off a wooden napkin ring, and grabbed the thick green stem with both gloved hands. Snap! The vine twisted instantly, swinging me in a dizzy circle! My boots knocked against three giant grapes, sending two purple globes tumbling across the smooth tabletop. I windmilled my legs, clamped my knees tight around the stem, and ended up hanging upside-down, grinning ear to ear with grape juice scent in the air! Yahoo!
