The Hallway Sled

A thick, glossy card was resting face down on the smooth hardwood by the front door! I didn't pause for a second—I took a running sprint and launched myself onto the slick paper with all four paws! WHOOSH! The card instantly turned into a speeding sled across the floorboards! I ducked low, tail whipping behind me for balance, gliding like a breeze until—thump! The card tapped gently against the bottom rail of the shoe rack and stopped. My paws never even touched the floor for the entire ride!
