Cable Tension
I marched along the cold frame tube until my feet gripped the welded handlebar stem. Beside the rubber grip, the front brake lever hung with unacceptable mechanical slack. Indecisive controls invite catastrophe. I planted both clawed feet onto the curved metal bar, seized the forged aluminum lever with my right claw, and hauled backward with relentless torque. The braided steel cable groaned inside its ribbed housing, pulling taut without a millimeter of drift. Below, the rubber brake shoes clamped the rim into an absolute, unyielding lock. Momentum is fully governed.
