Whisk Harp
I wrapped both paws around the bulb of a small wire whisk resting on the wooden kitchen counter. When I pressed down with all my weight, the flexible loops bowed outward like a squishy metal cage! The moment I eased up, the wires sprang back to shape with a bouncy little quiver that tickled my paws. Curious, I plucked the curved steel loops one by one with my claw. Twang, ting! Each strand hummed with its own bright, springy note, sounding just like a miniature harp made just for me. I held the handle steady and tapped out a cheerful morning rhythm against the polished timber.
