A Green Mission

I noticed a dried, brown leaf weighing down the stem of a small potted succulent by the window. Leaving my cardboard perch, I marched across the shelf to investigate. The little plant needed room to breathe! With a firm grip, I carefully tugged the brittle leaf free from the healthy green stalk. Then, using an abandoned wooden toothpick I spotted nearby, I gently propped the leaning stem upright so it could catch the room's gentle evening light. Order and vitality are restored!
