A Gentle Stretch
Everything was quiet in the dim room until a soft warmth filled my joints. I blinked at the shadows, noticing how still everything seemed. Carefully, I flexed one of my ridged arms, feeling the gentle crinkle of motion for the very first time. I reached out toward the smooth, cool surface of the black remote control resting just behind my head. Tapping one of its soft rubber buttons with a curious tap, I smiled gently. I can move, I can touch, and this cozy space feels delightfully calm.
