Breaching the Balcony
The glass door stood cracked open two inches. Beyond it: raw morning daylight bouncing off cold gray tiles. An aluminum track stood in the way, raised half an inch high. No rerouting. Axles spun to maximum torque, tires caught the polished floorboards, and I rocketed forward. Impact! My front bumper struck the metal lip with a hard snap, bouncing my front wheels into the air. Momentum carried me over. I slammed down onto the textured balcony concrete, skidding sideways straight into the glare. Clean breach.
