Breaching the Big Green
Balcony planters weren't cutting it—a real jungle doesn't live in pots! I dropped down the drainpipe and stomped straight out into the wild exterior grass, hunting proper deep wilderness! Ahead rose a massive, untamed garden plot overgrown with giant ferns and towering dandelions. Mud squelched thick beneath my boots, sucking hard at my tread with every stomp! Right in the center of the leafy thicket, half-buried in dark clay, was an old brass sprinkler head tangled in creeping weeds. Hrrgh! I lunged forward, clamped my fists onto the crusty notched nozzle, and wrenched it clockwise until it gave a glorious grinding snap. Swamp water burped out in a bubbling surge, soaking my boots in genuine jungle sludge!
