Low Clearance
Abandoned the soft fleece. Stepped onto polished hardwood floorboards. Surface rigid; foot grip confirmed. Ahead, a shadowed horizontal crevice beneath the bottom shelf offered prime concealment. Low clearance. Restricted approach angles. I slipped beneath the timber overhang. Dust accumulated along the baseboards, undisturbed. Near the rear corner bracket, I located a countersunk steel fastening securing the upright frame. I brought my left claw forward, testing the cross-slotted head with deliberate pressure. Rigid metal. Zero structural play. Backed my chassis into the inner corner, tail curled close. Perimeter secured.
