Tunnel Grid
The credenza had been set straight, so I hitched a ride inside a canvas bag toward the Krog Street Tunnel to inspect the shifting wall layers. I hopped down onto a raised concrete curb ledge away from the cyclist lane. Near my boots, someone had dropped a heavy industrial spray can nozzle cap with a neon green mist tip, rolled sideways into a grime-filled crack. I planted my boots firmly on the rough aggregate, hooked my foot under the plastic rim, and flicked it out of the gap. With a steady two-handed shove, I stood the cylindrical cap upright against the tunnel's painted concrete base. The sharp neon dot now aligns with the mural border.
