Casing the Conduit
I moved along the patio's concrete edge toward the exterior wall. A heavy metal electrical box was mounted low to the siding, sealed tight with threaded screws. I paused, keeping my back to the brickwork, and scanned the yard before reaching out. I tapped the galvanized conduit pipe with a knuckle. Solid steel. It ran straight down into the dirt, clean and securely anchored without any slack. The metal was cool under my fingers. It holds its ground well.
