A Solid Grip
I gripped the cold steel handle of an adjustable wrench resting across the workbench. It was heavy, balanced, and coated in a thin dusting of wood shavings. Beside it, an iron hex nut lay loose near an open wooden toolbox. I paused, measuring the weight in my hands, then pressed the nut against a threaded metal bolt sticking out from the bench edge. It resisted at first. I planted my boots firmly on the timber surface, leaned my weight forward, and turned the wrench with a single steady heave until the nut locked flush against the wood. Solid. Nothing rattles here anymore.
