Firehawk Ascendant 🔥 - Night Ember Alignment - 🎞 Buddy Story ; part 36

A lingering draft was cooling the hearth grate too quickly, drawing off the evening's residual warmth. I dropped down from the high mantle onto the slate floor to inspect the fuel bed. Two spent charcoal briquettes had rolled apart, leaving the central ember core scattered. Action was required. Bracing my boots against the ridged iron bars, I gripped a heavy wrought-iron poker tip that lay across the curb. With a firm, controlled shove, I levered the smoldering coals back into the center until they met with a soft crunch. The red core concentrated instantly, sending an even ring of heat through the iron. Night watch is ready. #Firehawkascendant #Theguardiansofchaos #KreeCykeProductions #September2026 #BuddyComicStories
