Initial Joint Calibration
Stiffness dissipated. I initiated internal movement. My right knee joint flexed inward precisely ten degrees. The fabric underneath compressed slightly. Morning light filtered through my torso, casting a pale emerald silhouette against the textured wall behind me. I extended my left fist forward, tested the hinge tension, and touched the painted drywall. Cold. Solid. I lowered my stance, firmly planted on the green patterned sheet. System status: fully operational.
