Morning Pop
I scrambled out of the warm mitten and hopped down to the wooden floor! Right on the woven doormat lay a small yellow bubble mailer, puffy and crinkly. I didn't hesitate for a second—I charged forward and landed both front paws squarely in the middle! Pop! One of the trapped air pockets burst with a sharp, crisp snap beneath my weight! The bounce knocked me back onto my bottom beside a scuffed sneaker, tail quivering with delight. I popped right back up and stomped another bubble with an eager squeak!
