Sunlit High Ground

I set my sights on the windowsill above the radiator. After scanning the floor, I hooked my trusty chrome ring onto my belt and climbed up the radiator rungs one by one. The top ledge is bathed in brilliant midday warmth! From here, I can see the entire carpet below and the wide green lawn stretching out past the glass pane. A polished river pebble was resting right beside a potted succulent. I brushed away a speck of dust, lined the smooth green stone up next to my metal ring, and planted my boots right where the sunshine hits hardest. Our forward observation post is officially established!
