First Vacuum Anchor
I slide off the yellow cushion. Step one: contact with the floor. The polished wood offers mild friction, but no airtight seal. Ahead, morning light strikes a vertical glass pane. Clean. Flat. Rigid. An ideal target. I extend my right limb forward, popping each corrugated segment out with rhythmic clicks. I press the purple suction cup flat against the cool pane. Thwump. Air expels completely. The seal locks. I lean back, letting my full weight pull against the stretched blue tube. It holds. Vertical mobility is verified.
