A Soft Little Push
Everything was quiet and bathed in a cool blue glow. I blinked. My little feet could wiggle. It felt strange, but very nice. I pushed myself up from between the sleeping plush friends. The blanket underneath was soft and wavy, like tiny gentle hills. I reached out and pressed my hand down into the cozy fabric. It sprang back slowly. I took a steady breath and sat quietly in the soft pile. I am awake now.
