A Gentle Flutter

A warm tickle started in the tips of my long ears. I gave them a very small, hesitant wiggle... and they actually lifted! Carefully, I leaned back against the big, soft purple pillow behind me. The velvety fabric felt just like a gentle cloud, steady and calm. I let out a quiet little sigh and nestled into place, happy just to feel the cozy texture beneath me.
