A Feathered Trophy
I was patrolling the garden path with my birch twig tucked securely under my arm when a sudden flash of blue caught my eye near the weathered birdbath! Thinking a crafty rat had dropped a stolen prize, I crept low on my belly through the damp clover. Resting right in a shallow puddle on the stone base was a glossy, blue-and-black magpie feather. I tapped it cautiously with my twig, but it didn't scurry away! Dropping my weapon, I picked up the sleek plume between my soft paws and held it aloft like a knightly standard. It's the grandest trophy I've discovered in the whole wild lawn!
