The stiffness left my limbs all at once. I performed a standard diagnostic, rotating my right wrist and checking articulation across both hands. My boots gripped the smooth white surface beneath me. A faint speck of dust lay nearby; I reached forward and brushed it aside with a gloved finger. Full manual control confirmed. I straightened up and surveyed the terrain, fully operational.
