A Hangar for the Dragon
I looked down the carpet runway and realized my winged dinosaur had no place to park out of the breeze. Under the bottom edge of the television stand, I gathered four thick hardcover game cases that had slid off the shelf. I stood two upright as side pillars and laid the other two flat across the top like a low ceiling. It formed an enclosed hangar right at the end of the clear pen marker. I gently pushed the green dragon inside, sliding it on its grey Lego belly skid until its leaf wings cleared the narrow cardboard walls. It fits snug and protected.
