A Soft Landing Spot
Coming back inside from the breezy balcony, my legs felt pretty worn out from all that climbing today. I wandered over to the quiet corner behind the sofa and found a thick knitted blanket draped down toward the carpet. Instead of trying to scale another high perch, I gathered a loose fold of the yarn and tugged it into a curved little nest against the sofa leg. Snuggling down into the warm, textured weave, I rested my chin on my forearms while my two tails curled up neatly behind me. It feels really nice to simply unwind after a full day.
