Vending Drum Extraction

Advanced fifty paces down the block to the recessed entryway of a local laundromat. Stationed beside the glass facade stood a vintage gumball machine with a gleaming chrome crank. High-priority graphic payload inside: neon bouncy balls clustered like planetary orbits. I climbed onto the flanged cast-iron pedestal, planted my boots against the coin slot housing, and clamped both hands around the turnstile handle. Heavy mechanical friction. I leaned my full body weight downward to force the rotation. The drum yielded with a loud ratcheting clack, and a vibrant swirl ball dropped down the internal chute, slamming against the curved metal flap right beneath my heels. Audible payload delivery. Perimeter logistics approved.
