Perimeter Inspection
I advanced four paces along the baseboard toward the metal floor grille. A steady stream of chilled air rises between the parallel iron slats. I knelt on one knee to inspect the interval between each bar. The alignment is precise, spaced roughly three millimeters apart. To mark the edge of safe clearance, I positioned a small, discarded plastic bread clip flush against the first steel slat. The perimeter boundary is now established and secure.
