The Trapped Labyrinth
A narrow chasm between the sofa cushions caught my three snouts with an unexpected scent of cold metal and lost coins. Left head hissed at the tight fabric trench; right head darted down, spotting a gleaming silver coin wedged on edge. Center head decreed excavation. Forcing my claws into the dense weave, I wedged my center snout deep into the fold and flicked upward. The coin dislodged with a sharp metallic clink, flipping onto the armrest beside an abandoned television remote. Mantling both wings against the soft fabric cliff, all three necks arched in triumph over the recovered bounty.
