Patio Door Pit Stop
The night breeze started whipping across the balcony, so I zipped back inside through the cracked sliding door before it could chill my soles! Right beside the pooled curtain hem, a big gray fleece slipper was resting near the floorboard trim like an open tunnel. I squeezed straight into the fuzzy lining feet-first, wriggled around, and propped both elbows on the plush shearling cuff. The patio glass reflected the dark city lights outside, but tucked inside this cozy slip, the whole room feels completely shut down for the night. Best way to park the engine after a full day on the tracks, isn't it?
