A Slight Lean
Right. Well. My ears felt unexpectedly heavy, so I tried tipping forward—just a millimeter, to check. And then... the plush fabric of the pillow actually yielded under my feet. I didn't tumble, which was a relief. I carefully raised one small yellow hand and pressed the blue fuzzy rim right in front of me. It squished softly. Everything stayed completely quiet, but my fingers actually responded when I willed them to move. I held my grin firmly in place and sat back upright, watching the room.
