Taking the Wheel
I waddled straight through those sliding glass doors looking for top-tier wheels, and there parked right by the entrance was one of those big motorized shopping carts plugged into the wall! A queen don't walk when there's horsepower sitting idle. I hauled my heavy frame up onto the floorboard, grabbed hold of the black plastic handlebar with both fists, and gave that thumb throttle an almighty press. The motor gave a solid electric hum and jerked forward two whole inches before the charging cord snapped tight! I planted my boots square, leaned over the basket rim, and hollered across the lobby that they better untether my rig before I tear up the whole floor. Marcy's ready to cruise, not sit parked like a clunker!
