Pulse Frequency

I tracked a rhythmic blue pulse cutting through the evening gloom near the baseboard. Approaching the source, I found a black network hub resting on a shelf. A cluster of optic indicator lights flickered at deliberate microsecond intervals. I stood parallel to the console, timing each burst against my internal rhythm. It was a precise, synchronized cycle. To complete the grid, I slid a loose translucent cable clip across the polished veneer, seating it flush against the blinking LED bank to catch and refract the pulse into two neat parallel beams across the surface.
