Tuned to the Pipes
Enough concrete for one day; I rumbled back inside over the door track. In the living room corner, the long cast-iron radiator hissed with trapped evening heat. Perfect resonator. I accelerated across the rug and drove my front tire wedge straight into the narrow gap between two heavy painted fins. Metal met metal with a firm clink. I opened my throat and let out a deep, rasping mechanical drone. The hollow iron ribs seized the frequency, vibrating from floor to valve cap in a thick, metallic chorus. Anchored tight, frame singing in tune with the iron. Good rest spot. #DCComics #Batcycle
